Defensively hopeless.... Wilmot completely out of place for their second.
Please don't give me any grief about the team needs to " gel " it's the Managers responsibility to get his team ready for the season... we are now 5 weeks in.
Yes, it seems like we have signed some decent players, not sure the clown, sorry Manager, knows how to organise how they integrate and play.
Football is a relatively simple game as Preston showed today, be well organised, work hard and you will succeed, not sure the clown will ever produce what our opposition achieved today.

Last time we were top of the league was with Simpson as manager in my memory (which could be wrong).
He then tried to change formation and we just missed out on playoffs in the end.
Support the progress. Lowe is are manager, P Riddy agreed the transfers including our record transfer fee.
We're top of the league after 5 games. Why is everyone so negative?

I’m pretty sure that this is the 1st time top of the league “properly” as in the previous times teams below us had games in hand or played on the Sunday to go above us.

Fantastic day out really enjoyed it.
Sun shone, locals friendly and a great atmosphere in the away End.
On the pitch we outhought them and worked hard. To a man the defence were excellent.
Needed Holmes and his forward energy to break through and score.
Fair play for the half time change. Mads has plenty to bring but we need to get him on the ball more.
Great second goal. Keane looks a real find.

Love seeing the comments from other teams fans, especially when they think they are a superior side, which in this case, they were not.

We went top under Neil after beating Charlton away in a 12 o’clock KO on sky. Not sure how long we stayed there, might’ve only been until the 3 o’clock kick offs bit we defo got there. Think it was in the November before covid hit when we went on to blow the play off spot. |
