Sounds dreadful this new signing absolutely scathing attack all I can say that Lowe did ok with the loan signings, as he actually bought anybody in his tenure at North End?

Typical nobber, writing him off before he’s through the door! No harm in trying to raise the standard. Should we sign players for the sake of it or a few decent loans that we enjoy watching? Woodman to my knowledge is the only player we’ve paid cash for. And he’s our most valuable assets now. |

I remember people losing their mind about signing Darnell Fisher based on his previous season at Rotherham. Turned out alright in the end.
Also remember us signing established players like Sinclair and him having a song before he'd played a minute. Turned out to be an expensive disappointment overall.
I for one will just be glad to just have a winger with pace and ability to beat a man in the team.

If they can get forward with the ball and best their man it's not too dissimilar. Look at Alvaro last year. Supposed to be a left back, played like a winger. |

If he's that good and played in ll Rangers games etc, why are they releasing him? Higher Wages at North End? Just hope he's not another Olasunde! Whilst Potts gives his best, he cannot dribble, he cannot cross the ball and he finds difficulty in passing to his own Tea. Occasionally, he takes a swipe & scores a Worldy. We need mor & hopefully this guy can fill the Bill.

Nyambe has been released by Wigan, only 25 still he is someone I'd take a look at. Could be a fairly cheap option

Clarke-Harris a not a Champ standard striker. Curious though as to why he's been released by Posh even though successful with them.

If he's anyhting like he used to be then get him signed.

Seems to me that PNE signing/alleged interest has the hamd of Steven Gerrard all over it. Typically lazy scouting.

Clarke-Harris hasn’t been released, he’s been transfer listed. Sounds like it’s pretty standard practice for a player in the last 12 months at Peterborough. Same with that Josh Knight, pretty sure he was highly rated. |

Yes, I can understand that,cash in whilst you can. (I think I'd be more interested in who Barry Fry has lined up as a replacement..unlike PR he knows a striker when he sees one).
I'll give credit to PNE for at least trying to address the obvious positional squad shortcomings...let's hope more successfully than the last 2 summers because when you look at the players brought in, the outcome (other than loans|) has been dreadful.
It seems to me that Riis is stuck with us, whether he likes it or not......he's going to have to get his form back and prove his fitness before anybody else looks at him. He needs a foil...shame Cannon won't be coming back (and I would not want Parrot) I'd take Delap though...he didn't get much of a deal last season but when he did I thought he showed something we've not got...physical strength and a turn of pace.
With the neew lad from Rangers be interesting to see where Potts plays...Lowe obviously likes him. I think no 10 is his best postn anyway (let's face it, he can't dribble, struggles to get in crosses, and his defensive positioning is suspect...on the other hand he can hit a ball).

Clarke-Harris is a very good league one striker.
Completely underwhelming in the championship and would require a decent sized transfer fee. No thank you. May be worth a punt to a club with more money than us as a squad player.

Can we please pension off the Riddler or ban him from any involvement with Transfers etc. We need a Strategy first, including improving Income sources, development of young players who can provide a future source of Income, a balanced Squad with cover all over the Pitch - especially RB/RWB & Striker. Going to be a busy time for some people.

Dujon Sterling gone to Rangers think we were linked with him last season another one we've missed out on but has he gone to improve himself or just gone for wages and trophies in a league that has limited appeal outside Scotland

Coventry just released their retained list with the following being released Fankaty Dabo, Julien Dacosta, Todd Kane, Sean Maguire, Michael Rose, Martyn Waghorn and Tyler Walker.
Hopefully we don't go back for a certain Sean Maguire. Fankaty Dabo has been subjected to some horrendous abuse through social media for missing his penalty in the POF. I get it that fans are disappointed but there is no need for the abuse

Ched 5 weeks Post Surgery, saw Consultant yesterday and given ok to play again once healed properly, he says will be back next season

Ched did a great job last year and kept up some momentum with important goals at places like Stoke, Reading and Blackburn.
Our tally would have been much worse without him.
