Cheap again, I just hope we equal last years sales; though I anticipate a few less.

Great news. Just one query… young adult same price as Adult? If so what’s the point of the category?

Good news that’s me + 2 who will be renewing, Championship best entertainment going with majority of games being played at the proper time for football 3pm on a Saturday afternoon !! Oh, just think, against every odd going, if we snook through and got promoted, excellent value for The Prem

Highest average attendance in 50 years. That’s one thing Lowe has delivered on.
15k homes fans on Saturday. The support is there.

In some ways there’s no reason to buy early for concessions It’s a fair point. Having looked at the prices initially, it does seem a big jump from £125 to £280 once you’re 19, but even then it’s still only £12 per game. Seems this will be my last season with Mini Mooney as a junior. He’s not 19 until next February so still gets the 11-18 price.

Putting them on sale already (must be earliest in the clubb's history by some weeks) , and keeping ther price down, says one thing to me....they're desperaste to get in the money early.
px6...Lowe has most definitely not delivered on mumbers...indeed, until Feb it was apparent from ther number of empty seats that a large number of (new) ST holders were simply not attending. Lowe's brand of football driving them away. There's a difference beween average gates , that includes non attending ST holders, and actuaL attendance.
Besides the prices what has helped push up figs this season is the away attendances from the likes of Rovers, Blades, Boro, Burnley, Stoke and there/s Sunderlansd to come (they've sold 5.500).
PS Also pointless having a Senior Category when it is exactly ther same as Adult.
I presume the explanation (and for the young adults) is so there is a record of age for buying away tickets that are priced differently.

Probably renew but don’t do evening kickoff and 8 weeks in Spain over Christmas so let’s see how many I will miss. Before I get one

10 games out of 23 would justify a ST.

Highest average attendance in 50 years, that’s a fact daws. Don’t know how that isn't a great achievement? And largely down to Lowe.
God knows how many managers we’ve had in that time get no where near this.

Had a chat with the lad last night, as he will be off to Uni in September. He was unconvinced from a value for money point of view, but we have decided to renew then we can keep ‘our’ seats, which we’ve had for 13 years now. Danger of not renewing and picking and choosing include:
1) If I renew and he doesn’t, Matchday price for him is £11 - decent enough, but maybe only seats available somewhere we don’t want to sit 2) Lose Founder Ambassador status and therefore miss the free season ticket for the PL 3) Someone obnoxious might buy his seat
So here’s the Maths. £405 for us both. If he doesn’t attend a single game, I’ll have paid £17.60 per game. If he attends between 5 and 10, it’s worth it.
When selecting University options, he only applied to places (and has accepted firm and insurance offers from) places with a direct train to Preston. I think he’ll be around more often than not!

12,000 season cards were sold before ther season started.....5,000 up on the previous year. The obviosu and only explanation is price.
Secondly , by Christmas, it was evident from the empty seats that many new card holders were staying away.
Thirdly let's see how many renew...becasue apart from the last three months the standard of football at home has been dire.
To put season cards on sale when , at least theoretically, you still have a chance of a play-off place says it all as to how much confidence the powers that be have in the team.

Highest attendance in 50 years. The season tickets are sold at the start of the year, not Christmas. Mix of decent pricing and Lowe are the only reasons for the record breaking year. .
15k homes fans in the second to last game of the season suggest people are behind the team and manager. Why are people hell bent on bringing a negative light to everything?
But that’s last year now, we’ll see what next season brings.

Half of the 12k probably wont renew, if you are a newbie or an oldie who hasnt had one for a couple of seasons because you were extremly vunerable to covid, around 6k of the better seats will be unavailable until after the deadline and the prices will have gone up, would that be correct?

What’s wrong with capitalising on season ticket sales by being in a good position now? Lost count how many times you’d criticise the club for not maximising commercially, when they do you say it’s desperation. Make your mind up.

Yes I guess so. There’s a couple of spares up near us though.

You do need to remember all season ticket sales are declared in the gate whether they attend the game or not. This has to be done because of HMRC rules about tax. So people are right the gate has gone up but the number of empty seats from missing season ticket holders can also be seen.

I cant see why "half" wouldn't renew. maybe a 1000 or so that didn't feel they got there monies worth but as someone said on FB. "Beating Blackpool and the last minutewinner agents the Plastics was worth the money"

I cant see why "half" wouldn't renew. maybe a 1000 or so that didn't feel they got there monies worth but as someone said on FB. "Beating Blackpool and the last minutewinner agents the Plastics was worth the money" There's a lot of people make a lot of noise (not on here!) on and around social media. This time last year, the guy who runs PNE-Online was saying he wasn't gonna bother getting a season card, etc etc, along with many others. When the deal came out, people who were probably genuine in saying 'I'm out', went... hmm, £12 a game, don't mind some of that and ended up renewing. I think the same will happen now - a decent end to the season, slightly better feel around the club I reckon we'll shift 10k rather than 12k - that's my guess. Notwithstanding the horrendous cost of living crisis we are all facing, we cannot underestimate the impact of that. In the last two months I have seen... Mobile phone bills increase by £15 per month Mortgage - Fixed rate ended... up by £80 per month Home insurance renewal - up by £10 per month TV monthly bills up - £10 per month (can't get digital where I live so have to have Sky or other) Utility bills - up £40 per month Cost of shopping continue to rise... with fuel bills showing no sign of coming back down... With all this in mind, it's a big commitment for anyone to make and I absolutely get why people won't do it. Still a great deal though.

PNEcant win with our 'fans' Go back to full price and they'd be slated. Continue with cheap season tickets and they are slated.
Someone should come up with a fool proof plan before knocking what the club are doing.
