Next season is defining for him. He’s got a squad to rebuild. I have sympathy. Recruitment budget. Are recruitment decisions fully in his hands?
His performance as PNE manager results in an average of 1.40 points per game.
How good is this comparatively?
Nowhere near the likes of Davies, Moyes, Grayson or Peters.
Nowhere near as bad as the likes of Ferguson, Browne and Westley.
‘Bang average’ though. He’s behind Simpson, McAvoy and Irvine.
Next year will be defining for him.

I like what Lowes asking. He’s only asking what the whingers are asking. No ambition, not happy with mediocrity. He’s putting it on the line. Let’s see what happens.

Ah! So our manager is a whinger then? 18 months and it's ok for him to whinge but not for fans of 40/50/60 or even 70 years standing? 🤔

The manager gets paid to lead...fans pay to follow. No comparison with regards to publicly stated expectations and accountability. No manager worth his salt publicly slags off the employees...indeed given a duty of care it is even of questionable permissibility. On the other hand the paying audiemnce of any public performance is entitled to express an opinion on what they are seeing as long as it is not slanderous. Making such comments is serioulsy poor man management from Lowe,,,and if I was the Chair I'd carpet him for his use of the term 'mediocrity' to describe squad players especially in a week season cards go on sale.

Doesn't matter if it is true or not , he's addressing the wrong audience.

He also needs to take a look in a mirror and learn to keep his mouth shut ,,,because the more he talks and the more the rubbish he spouts comes out (often contradictory) the more disaffected fans will become.
