Pathetic from Ledson for their second. He’s got 10 yards on the goal scorer on the half way line and is 10 behind him when he scored. Sunday league effort.

Radio Rovers must be clueless and I am going to criticise Lowe (and provide my reasons) (Me too with regards to nly just being able to log on)

This was a match that told a story. For the first 30 mins I thought we matched them. Neither side had any serious attempt on goal. Then something I warned about ….both Ahmed's ability and set piece play. Simple corner, 3 North End players around Ahmed but he wins the ball.

At 1-0 at HT I thought we were still in it.....but then came Lowe's intervention. Why oh why he took Storey off I've no idea. Bauer had been at sea with the pace in the first half and twice gave away dangerous free kicks on the edge of the box.....on the other hand Storey was having a decent game.

It seems to me Lowe has no idea how to read what an oppostion manager is going to do, Heckingbotham had given a number of key players a rest after Wednesday and they were not dominating midfield as they do...surely he would change it if only to let the regulars finish the season at home? As it was we got back in it and for a short period looked like we might get something out of the game. Once Berge and Fleck came on they just ran the game. With the speedy Jebbison now causing panic.

Bauer was twice caught for pace (what on earth he was doing on the left wing for the the third I don't know). Still we should have had what was a clear cut pen which would have made it 3-2 when Delap was brought down. Ref had given us little all afternoon and missed it.

3-2 may have been a fair reflection of the game at that juncture...but we continued to chase it and the defence had more holes in it than a Emmentaler cheese.

Overall it was a lesson ….in playing the ball quickly, taking your chances, using your set pieces (ours were shocking) and what not to do if a goal down.

Told us little about the players...in front of 30,000 DJ tried to play his game but was ordinary and didn't win a tackle until the last 10 minutes, Ledson never learns that repeatedly trying killer through balls only results in giving the ball away. Decent performances from Ononah, Potts (apart from one dreadful pass) and Alvaro (ditto). But no matter the ref we were definitely second best all over the park in the second half.

As for Lowe...that's the 4th time this season we have conceded 4 goals against a team above us (and once at the Lashers but for the same reason). Oncve we go a goal down against a good side (derby game another matter) instead of keeping it tight and trying to nick a goal the team has started to chase the game. It was suicidal today with a back 3 of Potts, Bauer and Hughes and with the best midfielder, Onomah , off. Pointless having Delap, Cannon and Parrot at the front and Woodman kicking long to Delap's height , when players like Berg and Fleck can pick you off in midfield and forwards like McBurnie can find space. He may not have had much to play with on the bench but no competrnt manager changes a side to make it worse like he did!

I have just read Lowe's opinion of the match,,,,calling the player 'bang average' (which is tru but you don't start having a rant about it) and criticising them for letting the game go the way they did......not a mention of his own contribution to the last 20 minutes. I also thought there were implicit criticisms of the club for not backing his aspirations.

Woah, some home truths from Lowe. Credit to him for saying that, but not always wise saying it to the media. Must know most of them will be gone in the summer.

Fair point. At first I thought fair play for calling it as it is but why come out with this at this stage, needed to show some passion when we had our last bad run.

I’ve said to a few that I hope he talks himself into a job somewhere else as there’s no chance we’ll be sacking him any time soon.

Squad needs an overhaul and I’m not sure I’m happy with him overseeing it. Squad will be full of young loans and injury prone gambles that have “been there and done it at this level”

Onomah looks a very good player but if he leaves this summer then that has been a shambles of a signing.. January needed a player or 2 that could help us out for half a season, not a player that is here to get fit to find himself a club in the summer. I could accept that if he’s come here and given us half a season but (guessing he was struggling fitness wise to be subbed) to still be being managed is awful.

We all know tha club needs a complete shake up from the top down to a change in policies and practices:

- Ridsdale and his lack of judgement to go
- Move from a short-termism strategy (in an increasingly difficut operational climate) to investing in the club's own players (stop wasting £millions on punts and loans, although I don't mind some of the latter the only time we get in good strikers is half way through the season when desperate, and upgrade the Academy).
- Significant improvement in player recruitment
- Significant growth in commercial income/stop franchising/leasing and cash in on cheaper season cars

Is it going to happen?

About as much chance of one of replacing Lowe with a more capable'intelligent manager (or of another club of comaparable or higher potential wanting him and willing to buy out his contract).

Luton. Millwall, Coventry even Rovers this season have shown what can be done with a comaparable or smaller wage bill and adding to loans with their own Academy players.

The way PNE is run is a death by a thousand cuts...a slow descent to L1...but one that will accelerate next season if the recruitment does not show a major improvement this summer. As it is we will be starting the season with one hand tied as (Prem} clubs are not going to loan potentially good young players before the season starts.

Highlights for me were Blackburn away and Blackpool at home. There was some shizzle in between.
We scored less goals than our relegation season 2010-11.

Becoming more and more fed up with Lowe’s post match comments. Never his fault. Please just go.
