Yep got lucky to be fair they deserved to win but didn't, a big shout out to Ryan Hedges what on earth was he doing trying to chip the keeper, 30 seconds later we level. Have to say it was a cracking game, the difference waas the bench given what's left of our squad the bench was limited First half we saded it they were far the better side in the second and as both sides had to win it ended in a draw, think that's it for us this season although stranger things have happened but losing 5 home games on the bounce was always going to be a killer THE END  |

Well, a hard-fought game & we gave it all we had. The Result was fair to my mind, although I would have liked us to win. We had chances but our Defence stopped them from testing our Goallie too often. We're not going to make it but we've kept interest to the last 2 games, so well done to our Team. They may not be the best but they're the best we have. Big congrats to all our Squad & the Manager for keeping us in the mix.

Thought we were the better team by far in the 1st half; 2nd we looked knackered after mid week and they were on top.
Riis, Browne, Ched and Cunningham all missing, McCann not quite ready to start; Bambo suspended!
The fact that with 2 games to play we are a couple of points off the play offs should be applauded and appreciated.
Well done the lads, get behind them!!

All I can say to Rovers is hahahahahahahahahahha serves you right for time wasting, cheating, shirt tugging and an embarrassing handball cheat. I’ve just had a text from the ghost of Diego Maradona and it simply said, ‘Amigo, even I wouldn’t have claimed that one!’. Good to see ProudPreston29 and ginagee today - been a while since PP has seen my lad and sitting having a beer discussing their bets did seem a bit weird. Notice you didn’t stand next to him 😂😂😂 Analysis of the game above is spot on. We faded second half. Onomah on the pitch 15 minutes too long, Delap. Always rated him! |

Can’t believe that the player who handled the ball in didn’t get booked for handling it and then a second yellow card for saying he scored a goal and denied having handled it so a red card at 0-0 . And McCann is saleable in my opinion

Thought it was a super game, both teams had a go, we look so much better playing positive,
We were better 1st half
They were better 2nd
We tired about 70 mins
Thought each player ran their socks off
Draw was fair result
It didn’t quite run right for Tommy today, if it had, we might have won by a couple

Agree v much with other comments re a game of two halves...in the end a fair result.
Can't fault anyone for effort...there were some tired legs out there at the end. I know Bauer hassn't played much but his substitution baffled me...upset the side and formation...meantime the one player who annoyed me, Parrot, continued to pull out of 50/50s and fail to track back. As I said I wouldn't fault anyone I'll take it that he was dead on his feet.
Considering the gate the atmosphere was nothing like the Pool match (shows the real derby game).
Came off thinking a point is no good for either side but damages them more than us as we were never going to make it anyway.
They could have won it , of course, had it not been for Hedge's cock-up...but that would have produced a very unbalanced outcome.

I fancied 1-1 in the pub. So did the Rovers fans.
We learnt nothing we didn’t already know today.

Rovers fans, decent Longridge lads, were saying they have a grade 1 academy and it’s serving them well.
That’s where we need to focus our efforts.

Oh the hype poor league average players never been bothered about them, little mill town who have to hook up with Darwen to make them look bigger. Glad its all over now as I said before waiting to hear the dross and lies that are inevitable about next season. Sorry but me my Dad and my son did not bother yesterday 3 season ticket holders had a nice glass of red and lunch in that place next to Pizza Express though.

One thing I've taken note of the last few games... Potts seems to have learned how to head a ball. Scored the winner other week and his flick on for Delap creates the equaliser.

Good to see Baure back, never let's us down Can't agree with the view that we won the 1st half. I thought we were too slow and passed back too many times. The cheater should have been red carded for disputing the decision to disallow. We gave our all but just not good enough when we don't play to our max.

BFG was immense on Saturday considering he hasn't been playing much. He won almost everything in the air and very strong in the tackle. Hopefully Lowe sees something and big Pat gets a run in the side
