Well that was very enjoyable, played like a proper team DJ my MOM. Knocked it around for fun and on another day could have had 5, their goalie made a couple of cracking saves, they persistently held our players but the excuse for a Ref ignored it all. Tom doing what he does and Potts came up with a very late deserved winner. Onomah impressive and gives that big extra A yellow card for the sneering Ince What a cracking Easter …..EIEIEIO

Fully deserved win should have been out of sight, no doubt the Guvnor will blame the ref, they were shocking but wen they were losing decided to give it a go. Justice was done if they had got a point from that it would have been robbery

I thought Alvaro for MOTM. I think he'll be playing for a European team next season, similar to the move Sepp got.
Suddenly we look full of quality. Cannon lethal in front of goal with a good foil in Parrott. Midfield 3 of Whiteman, Johnson and Onomah is a match for most in the division. We NEED to tie all 3 down asap...
Fantastic scenes and the toxic home atmosphere and form seems a long time ago. It's on!!!

North end don’t do last minute winners!!!
I thought we were very good today, hard to tell if it was just that Reading were awful; but you can only beat what’s in front of you. Everyone of them had a good solid 8/10 with special mention to Potts and DJ. Parrot had his best game and Onamah slotted in nicely for Browne. Credit to RL as we certainly seem to be playing his “brand” with high full backs and the 2 number 10’s. I think DJ coming in for McCann has been the biggest change.
I can’t see us making the playoffs but it’s great we still have something to play for at this stage. A real shame Riis, Ched, Greg and McCann are unavailable and hopefully Browne and Delap will be back soon.

DJ was all over the park today. Whilst he's expensive wage wise from all accounts, in this form he's no luxury, but essential. He orchestrated the game today. Everything came through him. Just think what we saved in transfer fees getting such a top player for next to nothing in football terms.

Alvaro brilliant. Cannon and Potts same. Some excellent team performers and we look like a decent team. Well done to the management ream also. How does Readings no2 earn money?

I despise Andy Carroll as I have heard at first hand what a nasty man he is.Today he proved what I have always known he is limited beyond belief and to think King Kenny ! Spent 35 million on him to replace Torres! He is no King to me !

Morning everyone - good to see confidence and belief rising in the players. I think we all know that self-belief is a huge factor in the small margins between success and failure and it was great to hear the crowd's reaction to Reading's equaliser on Saturday. In the past, and I mean this season, when we have conceded at home, or misplaced passes, the reaction of the crowd has been negative. I firmly believe that our reaction on Saturday made a positive difference to the lads on the pitch - let's keep backing them all the way. Also, let's not get carried away, we've beaten 3 of the worst teams you are ever likely to see. The real test is on Saturday and I would take a point right now. I think Rovers late equaliser on Saturday is a turning point for them and sadly think they will now finish 5th, with us, Millwall and Norwich battling it out for 6th.
What a season this is turning out to be - bizarre! On another note, and I know may will be sick of reading this from me, but for goodness sake PNE, pull your fingers out and give DJ another 2 years. Sort out the differential between current wage and reduced wage through a signing on fee - £250k would enable us to reduce his wage by around £3k per week over 2 years without it harming his income... put a release clause in, big bonuses built on appearances, goals and assists. He's our best player - we need to put a value on that and recognise that a replacement of similar quality would cost us way, way more than what I am proposing.

Stupid really when you consider they’ve had six points deducted, without that they’d be pretty much safe. But because they’re in the bottom three as a result that’s now the managers fault? 🙃

Stupid really when you consider they’ve had six points deducted, without that they’d be pretty much safe. But because they’re in the bottom three as a result that’s now the managers fault? 🙃 Just had this conversation with my barber! Any team with Joao, Carroll, Sarr, Hendricks, Ince, Hoilett, Long, Dann, Meite, Moore, Yiadom etc in the squad should be at least mid-table in a poor division. He's had a lot of injuries to contend with... but they were truly awful on Saturday. Carroll and Joao up top meant we could play out from the back at will. Cesare Casadie (20...good player) tried to help the press, but he could only get onto Whiteman, which left 3 men trying to press 6! Wide full backs both decent but with Carroll up top, why not hang up loads of long diagonal passes when they got it? Presumable team instructions. A poor manager. Could end up at the end of the M55 again...

I think Carroll is terrible. Steals a living. If you ask him to play a high press, he's never going to do anything. His main strength is his physicality - Potts is a big unit, but he looked skinny next to Carroll. No point playing him at all if you're not going to get the ball in the box.

Thought that was one of Potts'most aggressive displays. My comments must have motivated him. If he plays like that for the rest of the Season we could be in the Playoffs

Storey won the physical battle IMO. Storey on good form atm An excellent example of how sending a player out on loan can help them develop/regain form.
