Saturday April 1st We wont send them down but we could put a great big dirty nail in their coffin, which will be nice. But then again do you want the local derby next year? I hope we batter them but they escape. We will lose at least two local derbys next year. Get yourselves there and show those dirty orange wotsits what it's like to hear an atmosphere. PNE From Afar,cheers Bizarrely think we’ll lose but they will go down. I want to see the back of them and their unruly lot. Loose Wigan, Burnley and Blackpool. If Ched fit I’ll revise to a draw.

I, too, have grown to like Cannon...still got a lot to do but I like the way he is applying himself and every game seems to be improving. There's a potentially useful player in there.
As for Pool I like the derbies...but if they go down I'd be happy to take Yates off them and Bowler (who will probably be re;eased by Forest at the end of the season).

If Ched plays i think we could scrape a win, my worry is that without Ched we have no one that can hold the ball up or even seem to win a foul in the opposition half. The ball then keeps coming back and eventually we concede.
Despite the 7 games unbeaten prior to Boro i still struggle to see any real game plan (barring 15 mins at Rovrum)
Personally id have given them the full Kop too, the extra income would have helped and the chants from the lashers around "empty seats" outweighs the petty reason for not giving them more tickets..

I just cannot see us winning this, the home form despite a couple of wins is pretty awful, if Blackpool come and battle they will scrape it. PNE need to turn up and be strong and play in a positive way.
There was a passage of play at Boro around 63 mins that was just typical PNE, in their half, pass after pass & turning down opportunities to get the ball forward, then a loose pass and they almost score on the break.
Kop should be all Bpool....get some income in. I see plenty of tickets remain!

Not really just realistic in terms of the possible result, we are not that good at home...simple as that. I cant see how we can be optimistic given the standard of pay at Deepdale...unless I'm missing something Don't get me wrong would love a win! |

My favourite game against them is either the 3-2 win at their place, Ellis hatrick or the 3-0 win at Deepdale when Eyres scored best free kick I've seen and also pumped the badge in front of their directors 😁

Never ever rated this guy - can't shoot(apart from 1lucky goal), can't cross, can't pass, can't dribble. Would have a good impact at Bamber Bridge. Sorry, he is out of his depth & we don't really know what his position is - apart from Sub. |

Hope Ched is back, he always likes to score a couple on Sky games
More worryingly for me is the back 3, Greg came off injured at Boro, Hughes the proverbial sick note, Lindsay out of favour ( and match fitness), BFG, again match fitness a concern and Storey, hopefully International break will have some patched up and ready for KO

Fully expecting a back 3 of Storey, Lindsay and Hughes. Ched will be a huge miss if unfit. A couple on the other site reckon we’ll be lucky to see him again this season, I hope that is guess work.
If fit I wouldn’t be against Greg playing that centre CB role again but the injury sounded quite a significant one after the Boro game.

For me, if he’s out, we have to play Delap and Cannon together and play through the channels, with DJ in the 10 position threading passes through. Browne and Whiteman to complete the midfield. |

I am going to miss the game, but if Parrot and Cannon are up front it will be a miracle if we score. In all the games I have watched Parrot and Cannon are struggling to form a partnership. Blackpool lost their last 7 away games, and not won away since October!! Didn’t realise they where that at bad.
Might be the last time we play them for some years. Let’s make it a memorable one. Looking like 20k on.
Doesn’t look like Ched will make it. Not worth risking with a spine injury. I’d start Delap over Parrot.
