It's taken me 3 hours to get home. Was it worth it? I occasionally watch Chesterfield in the National League......believe me (and I don't think anybody at Deepdale today would have a problem with this) the standard of football was worse than the National League, much worse. Cardiff are by far the worst side seen at Deepdale this season..and we were no better, Indeed if it had not been for Woodman (my MoM) we would have gone behind.
For once I agreed with the substitutions (how Woodburn gets a start is beyond me...showed zero ability to turn with the ball and make an accurate pass). Besides FM only bright spot was Cannon..this lad has some ability, still a lot to do but he's coming along nicely.
3 points all that matters?
Profoundly disagree. People pay to be entertained. That was a serious hard watch today. I left home at 11.00am this morning to get there, and it's now gone 8pm. I'm not going to bother adding up the costs.
Nobody in their right mind could consider what's being produced as value for money ...only fanatics in the true sense of the word would knowingly watch such poor 'entertainment'. How on earth we've got to 50 points I don't know other than the Championship this season has had the lowest standard since inception.

Ched made a massive difference, someone who can actually trap a ball!!
1st half was awful, couldn’t even call it “football” I’d guess the ball was in play less than 20 minutes, with most of the half watching the officious simpleton in black chatting to players.
2nd half was a decent game with both teams realising the other team was rubbish and there were 3 points on offer.

Norwich at the start of the season. Millwall going under the radar. Boro at the moment. Sheff utd. There are plenty of top teams in this division. Luton may be the only one above us that have a smaller budget but that is debatable. We must be doing something right. Punching above our weight! etc. etc. |

Lifts the mood no end.
Cannon excellent.
Defence resilient.
Some great balls second half. Potts pinging some.
I thought DJ was poor by his standards. Parrot same.
Thought the subs were really positive.

These players are better than the position we are in. Lowe needs to do better. He mismanages .ots of situations and his team selection are difficult to understandat times.

Top performance from Freddie today, credit to him for staying on, looked a nasty injury, made some outstanding saves particularly the one that looked offside and he tipped it round the post, cracking black eye in the making  |

If I had payed out £100 to come up and watch that yesterday I would have finished up suing the club for fraud apart from Burnley the standard in this league is woeful and we are amongst the worst offenders anyone who believes different must be dilusional and I dont mean that as an insult just the only word I can think of

It was cold, miserable and the footie did nothing to compensate!
Awful 1st half a tad better the second.
Why on earth Woodburn is getting in the team, god knows! Ledson has his issues, but he is in front of Woodburn by a long way.
Having said that 3 points and we are safe!.... I just hope we manage to up the ante V Bleakpool!
+ Credit to Daws for his trip he must be the one who travels furthest to watch that trash!! My Lancaster trip to Deepdale seems pretty easy!

Credit to you. I decided the Carnforth area and chance to watch the rugby (another mistake) was a better option.
Bowness Blues Festival has aleady seemed preferential to the Blackpool match.
