Didn’t go but can’t really pass comment.
But I bet Ledson was useless. 😅 Win percentage with him in the team must be below 20%.

Archer scores a brace for boro That’s what’s we’re up against. We simply can’t get the quality to push on from here. That’s life of a north end fan I’m afraid.

Burnley were excellent, we were very very poor They found space, we found none They kept the ball, we gave it away They passed, we miss passed They showed quality, we showed none
Ok wrong set up from Lowe, but he is working with some very below par players. Woodman poor on at least one goal, McCann labourers, not what we thought we were getting, Cannon and Delap no better than Sean and ched. Browne skinned at RWB as was Brady
Players are 20% off the level they need to be, add to that Ryan and his tactics and we will fall in the division, but just stay up!
Next season, brace yourself for the challenge.

This picture sums them up The technical area was devoid of any signs of life in the last 20 minutes as the staff had given up, suspect the players had given up even earlier, yes they were good but we didn't lay a glove on them, our best bit of possession just before half time not unsurprisingly ended up with Ledson passing back to Woodman. Felt sorry for the two lads up frot zero balls to feed on and in truth their keeper had better passing ability than the majority of those in yellow today. Another in the long list of utter dross we have had to watch since the end of the Pandemic, what's he going to blame tonight Haley's Comet? Abysmal He should be potted he won't be though, never taken to him from day 1 gooby Scally who doesn't take responsibility for when he goes tits up. Goood job those at the bottom are pants still need 10 points to avoid relegation and on these performances don't rule it out

Took 45 mins to get out of the dog-sh*t capital of Lancashire...during which listened to BBC Radio 5, Julia whatshername summed up the PNE performance perfectly when reporting on the match
'I havn't mentioned Preston. Nothing to say. Ripped apart and nothing to offer'.
Much as expected before the game and on seeing the team sheet.,,,when you have 4 non-Championship players (or not ready) allegedly taking the game forward...Ledson, Woodburn, Cannon and Delap, what can be expected?
The entirety of the striking consisted of a scuffed shot from Browne (first half) and a misplaced header in the second half. Period.
At times it was embarrassing. What goes on during the week who knows? When Browne actually stopped a cross in the 45th minute the guy behind me shouted 'that's 1-10' ...he was skinned so many times by their left winger yet time and again he left him acres of space, never got tight , indeed went on wandering inside to ptrop up the woeful midfield.
Ledson...don't start me....hitting a ball in the direction of a PNE player is not making a pass.
Where were |Delap and Cannon told to play? Granted they never got a decent ball all afternoon but I thought they were supposed to be a striking pair...someone should tell them that when one takes up a position near the left line and the other on the righ wingt, 50 yards apart, they are never going be a strike force or even manage a shot (which they didn't).
Having said all that Woodman at fault for the golas in the second half (both stoppable) aided and abetted by Lindsay.
It is an utter shambles....completely unacceptable.
Where was DJ? ...not even on the bench.
Not just a case of Lowe out but the person responsible for this mess.
If anyone wanted to produce a banner RIDSDALE OUT I'd gladly chuck in the first £20
PS Anyone who thinks we are safe from relegation needs to think again.

Didn’t even bother coming up after HT. 3-0 before I’d finished my HT pint and the 18.02 train had been cancelled. Option was go and get the 17.02 or hang around for the 17.02.
Pathetic effort, no structure to deal with over loading down their left. That left winger is quality though, felt for Browne trying to deal with him.

Thanks walburghian, always some entertaining games at Turf and lots of controversy For those driving my colleague from work did that once and her car wasn’t there when she returned never to be seen again Don’t like the wide wooden seats on away end but wasn’t too bad the day Nuge and Grezza combined to score that cracking goal Talking of aches and pains just out of hospital yesterday, horrid accident, head full of stitches, broken right wrist and 8 fractured ribs so please PNE no more pain needed today ….. Did fancy a sneaky 1 0 to us before the Ched news but fear they may have a pantomime Bless you. Hope your recovery goes well x

The result of awful recruitment in every area of the club and it is only going to get worse didnt go and why should I what are the supporters getting back for their years of loyalty to the club " complete rubbish week after week" I have never felt like this in 60 years of following PNE originally thought it was just my age until I saw how some of the teams in the lower leagues played in the FA cup it just confirmed to me how bad we were cant see me going again this season as I dont expect any changes being made

No surprise Did not go did not listen the manager is not the answer granted I can handle losing against better players. When the captain questions the manager something has to go.

Just had a chat to my Burnley ST holder neighbour, he thought we can't expect much more given the budget. Thinks RL is doing ok!!

...and how many times has your Burnley ST holder seen PNE play this season and how much has he paid to watch them Markos?
I don't mind losing to better teams and I never expected anything other than a defeat yesterday......but that is no excuse for the lack of any evident game plan, such as no back up for Browne, the team selection, and two cfs seemingly not knowing what positions to take up. At least he got one thing right...pulling Woodburn and Ledson at HT.
But it isn't just against a good team ...we've witnessed this ineptitude, and worse, against the likes of Huddersfield and Bristol City.
It's going to cost little more to get rid of him and give Gally the job. He, at least, has played in the top two levels and knows his way around the Championship. Suspect he would also get more response from the players.
It's going to cost a lot more keeping him!!
Giving Gally the job would also avoid utterly useless got-to-sling-his-hook Ridsdale from going out and making a selection.

I can't believe that anyone would tote Gallagher for the job.
Gally is a top bloke, he is a really nice person, too nice to be a Championship football club manager.
I have never met him,I don't want to be unkind, but when I have seen him interviewed, he doesn't come over as the sharpest knife in the box, but that's just my opinion from afar.
PS.....If the only way to get shut is that we don't employ someone else, probably the way to go would be give Marsh a go till the end of the season and hope and pray that he is his own man and has his own style and nowt has rubbed off off his Scouse buddy.

Gally is a tough lad who had a bit of a rough upbringing. He fought his way through life and has mellowed over time. For me, our club is really divided now and needs someone to bring us together. We need 2/3 wins to be safe and with that in mind; Gally to the end of the season but bring in a vastly experienced DoF to support him in this. See how he goes. I wouldn’t say no to Grezza on a similar deal tbh but think Gally would bring a smile to the training ground and that’s massively needed. Whatever happens we have to look at structural changes at every level, but please for the love of God, relieve Ryan of his duties now!

I taught Gally when he was a YT he was thick and arrogant- sorry he may have changed, however as a manager no chance neither Alexander. Go and get Stevie G if he would come or ….who do you think it’s me !! The King, King Billy!!

Billy Davies' track record on leaving PNE leaves much to be desired...ikndeed, it so long since he worked (2014) that he is probably now unemployabler. There's many who have questioed his mental stability given his fractious and litigous personaility. Louise Taylor of The Guardian pointed to Davies' "paranoia", "self-destructive insecurities" and "obsession with conspiracy theories and old grudges" as the reasons behind his downfall, suggesting that he had "shattered" his reputation. He's the last person and type we need.
Also very harsh on judging Gallagher on how he was over 20 years ago......imagine if people took ther same approach to Wayne Rooney based on his latex granny episodes.
Gerrard has been used to earning £2m a year.
Gally and Marsh to the end of the season for me.....Lowe has got to go (and so has Ridsdale).

I'm just finding nothing about the club anything other than depressing Sup.
Jones doesn't appeal to me, too emotional and I've had enough of blathering managers...however I concede a brilliant job at Luton (taking him back from Stoke speaks volumes).
I believe I'm correct in saying Marsh did an assist job at Huddersfield when they were promoted...certainly had some role.
We need someone with experience at this level ...but would they want to work with Ridsdale and the budget?
We all know it's a clean sweep that's required but it ain't going to happen...but at least let's put the pressure on.

RL lost me the other week when he failed to take any responsibility for the umpteenth time.. Club needs a bit of unity and fight, if Grezza would come in until the end of the season on a prove yourself basis, id take him. Biggest problem any manager has isnt the budget of PR imo its the expectation of some of the more vocal fans!! if it wasnt for the £7mil of Sky money and the current strength of league one i think the best thing that could happen would be relegation...
