This smacks of premier League arrogance we've got Megabucks and we'll spend it how we like when clubs lower down the league's are struggling to pay for ground repairs that are safety concerns for the public Time for a reality check and prioritize what's more important
I wonder why this didn't come out in the press after Notts Forest got slated for flying to Blackpool in the previous round?
Apparently (I have it on good authority, but it is 3rd hand) the Spurs players were also flown from London to Blackpool. However, the Tottenham team coach/bus drove up to Preston empty, just so it could transfer the players from Blackpool airport to the hotel, the hotel to the ground and back, before ferrying them back to the airport for their flight back down to London, before the coach drove back down to London empty!
I mean if they really do need to fly, in these days of heightened concern about carbon emissions, why don't they just hire a local coach, or ask whether they could use the PNE coach for the transfers, rather than have a coach drive a 500 miles round trip whilst empty.
Great observation, just shows disrespect for environment and how premier league players are pampered. It would have been logical to hire local transport if they wanted to fly.
"If" such a short word but it means a lot. If the horse had not stopped to sh!t, it would have won the race! Life doesn't give you a practice run. Go and live it.
So pleased Spurs didn't wear the away kit they're wearing v Sheffield United tonight against us. Boy is it hard on the eyes! It must be up there with the worst kits ever! They should have the chocolate and orange they had before they adopted our kit!
Who designed it? Obviously colour blind. When does royal blue, black and luminous yellow go together?
