Right enough of the let’s talk about Preston the City, let’s get onto talking about the match! Rumours emerging that Harry Kane may be struggling and that would be a real shame. Liam Lindsay was said to be looking forward to playing against a striker who isn’t quicker than him.
I’ve also read that Son is not very good at the moment. Spurs fans if you think Son is poor just wait until you’ve seen us trying to attack through our wing backs.
My strategy would be press high, be aggressive and push Brady and Browne right up on their full backs/wing backs. With McKante and Whiteman there’s enough of a shield there.

Under pressure from my son have given in and got tickets Tom Finney Block H Row 6 not sure about the view? You and the boy should enjoy the first half. Our current Spurs team doesn't generally start playing until the 46th minute and even then it doesn't always happen. (Of course last weekend's 4-2 defeat to Man City was the game that turned that theory on its head.)

God I love a good Butter Pie. Where do you get them from? Don’t tend to see them much over here but Clayton Park are stocked in loads of places. Having said that, it’s probably about 5 years since I had one 😂 Don’t think I’ve had one since I decided I was fat and needed to lose weight! I like Greenhalgh’s too.

My local Spar shop sells the Clayton Park butter pies (same that you get on the ground). They are decent enough. Can't beat a proper homemade though.
Time us to us to break the home hoodoo. 4 nil North End 😎

It's a sign , I tell you. We first played you in the FA Cup 123 years ago. One Two Three = 1-3. So that's the score tomorrow. Superstitious, moi?

But that was 40yrs ago. Guys used to say that they were still hot after catching the bus back to Chorley. Happy days.

Just been out and bought me a couple of individual Potato & Leek pies for tomorrow night - the nearest thing I could get to a butter pie. Forgot the ale though. Can someone suggest the most appropriate bottled beer I could buy down south, from the likes of Tesco, etc?

Hmm… not sure what supermarket beers they have down south as it seems most of the popular ones are southern beers. I’d look out for Moorhouses ales, especially Pendle Witch’s Brew, beyond that… Lancaster Bomber is decent, and I suppose Thwaites Wainwright is ok. Near where I live we have Bowland Brewery and their Hen Harrier is great.

Morning good people of Preston, Just joined for the Spurs match always nice to read other fans perspectives on the game. I see Case and Spidey are here too. I hope its a good game last one i went to was Rochdale away and that was not great for us even though we gave them a new pitch !

Makes for a better debate. If you are coming up for the game there is also a beer guide in the thread. We dont have designated away pubs here

It's going to go one way or the other, obviously! Feeling like it's going to be a cup upset or a complete tonking.
HT 1-0 against Man Utd, HT 2-0 against Arsenal. both went pear shaped but great Moments!
