Good draw. Played them in the league cup over ten years ago when Harry was in charge of Spurs. Sell out I would think.

24,000 x (say) £25 equals £600,000 gate money. FA takes 10%, money than divided.....cost of putting the match on, inc Police, needs to some out of it, but should still leave the club with around £250,000 plus TV money.
Couldn't care less over the result(but would love a draw and visit to their ground) although I recall the last time we met Spurs at home in the FA Cup and a little winger, Lee, had a blinder and we won 2-1. Don't ask me what year though...mid 60s I think.
Judging from the team Conte put out yesterday at home to Pompey (inc Kane) it will be a strong Spurs team.
Lifts the spirits knowing this is coming and should give the team a boost as players try to earn a start.

Such a display of navy blue and white will no doubt make the Spurs team feel quite at home.
With the exception of the probable Man City match this is probably the tie of the round and broadcasters will take an interest in view of a potential upset (no matter how small)....hence I expect the tie to be moved for the TV people.

I totally agree - so am hoping they move it to Sunday as opposed to Friday night. This is entirely for selfish reasons as I won't be able to attend if it's Friday!

I,snt it surprising what a good cup draw can do after making it clear that I am not interested in wasting any more money on the rubbish we are dishing up this season I am now desperate for a ticket

Since when did appropriate kick off time for the supporters become more important than money?

Since when did ANY consideration for fans come into decision making over fixtures KO times etc as always the fans don't matter until the excuses for poor attendance lack of income into clubs etc are being made. Well start treating fans with respect loyalty and then clubs will be rewarded. Remember true fans choose a team and remain loyal to them for life irrespective of the treatment given to them but players managers owners come and go.

Feel sorry for the Spurs fans they must dream about playing the team that gave them their nickname.

If KO times are an issue it's just as well we are never going to make the Prem (given the way the club is currently run and parachute payments).
PS 3.00pm Saturdays ...and that should be it.

View AttachmentOne or two season ticket holders voting with their feet. Hopefully sales will pick up. Not a massive shock to be honest, I have got a ticket along with a couple of other season ticket holders I know, we have all had season tickets for 40+ years. It will be interesting to see what the gate is on the day especially as it is on tv

PW...a lot of ST holders sit in the family blocks on the STF...even though in the block I sit you'd struggle to identify anyone under about 30. The club, to its credit, has recognised that long after children have grown ST holders want to continue to sit in the same seats they have always occupied amongst family and friends.....I've had the same seat since STF opened.
The problem is that without a child member you can not book a seat on-line in the same block...and there's nothing the club can do about this because of the way the system works. Normally it doesn't matter ...because the blocks are pretty full of ST holders. It only becomes a problem when trying to book your regular seat on-line for a 'one-off' Cup match.
As you can never get through on the 'phone to the ticket office for a 'big match' your options are either to go in or email the ticket office and wait for them to deal with it (they are very good in emailing back). The former isn't an option for the likes of me. It was after the deadline for Ambassadors when I got my ticket.
Hence at least I think it is misleading, as far as these blocks are concerned, stating ST holders have not taken up their Cup tickets. For all anybody knows it could just be a matter of not being able to get through to the ticket office in the allotted time span.

Trying to buy and ticket for myself and another who’s not registered. But can only get one ticket. Anyway round this without using someone else’s details?
Seems abit backwards that it’s 1 per person even after the season ticket holders have had their time to buy. No wonder they’ve not shifted many.
Good time to get new supporters in, but make it impossible to get in without being registered. I can understand this if we were selling out every week. But we’re not so it’s senseless.
