It is what it is re Archer, never our player, at the end of the day in 4 months will return to Villa and that will be that, was just wondering have we ever had a star player return and be a success (Alexander’s free kick apart) ??

Lowe confirms CA decided against coming back.. cant blame him really, promotion push at Boro and he knows the assistant boss.
Parrot back training but Riis's injury looks serious, Maguire not looking close to return either!!
Looking like we need a couple of CF's to me, along with the RWB we have needed all along..

And people want to rest players in the cup, what’s the point. We aren’t going up, should stay away from a relegation fight unless we completely fall apart so why not try a string a bit of a cup run together? |

px6....the Prem has succeeded in creating a self-perpetuating oligarchy. More than time that fans of Champ clubs not getting parachute money took action. Even if a club had an owner willing to pump in the max allowed by FFP they still could not bridge the gap. It's a fix! Only reason clubs don't take action is because they are desperate for money and have been bribed by the Prem to take the paltry amount they receive. The 'game' really is rotten to the core.

Yep well aware it’s never going to change Daws.
The current system works for 10ish teams comfortable in the prem and conveniently works for another 13-15 teams who are in the prem or still receiving the benefits for being part of it. For the rest of us we face an impossible task of progression.

So Blackpool have signed 2 players already on loan - & they need them. We need players but appear like headless chickens. Don't know the terms of Parrots loan deal but we know that he is not a Goalscorer. We should have sent him back & saved some money - unless this was not covered in the Loan Agreement. There are too many basic Managerial issues going wrong & it only points in one direction. We need some positive action with RB & Striker & the longer it goes on, the more likely it is that it will be a last resort signing. Just wish that someone credible had access to the Family.

Yes but they've signed 2 other players today. We haven't signed anyone, which means that we cannot pay, do not know who we can sign. They've taken decisions. What price we don't sign a RB this window?

In all seriousness I am far from convinced that Cannon is the answer to our needs. But anyone is better than nobody right now. I'd hope this is a much cheaper deal than Archer and as such there's funds for another player. A creative wing back is an absolute must.
None of our strikers will score with potts putting crosses in.

Had a couple of set back apparently but think he has been out on the grass. Parrott and Brady are closest by the sound of it. |
