Riis had a great 75 mins.

Cant really complain much. We looked up for it and with a bit of luck would have hammered them.

Certainly can’t fault the effort today 18 shots, 6 on target, 6 corners, 57% possession, on another day we would have won comfortably but once Bambo came on the writing was on the wall, why take Storey off and leave the lump on the pitch at the end beyond me !!
Didn’t get Woodman coming up but not going in the area in the last minute, I thought that was the idea to get an extra body in the mix?

Nothing is going to change untill we actually get some strikers who can actually put the ball in the bloody net possession number of chances shots on target and all the rest of that rubbish counts for sweet nothing if you dont put the ball in the net just stating the obvious that seems to evade a lot of people not a big fan of JL but badly let down by the people in charge as were all the previous managers

Losing Cunningham was a blow but it is harsh to blame Bambo, however having to shift Lindsay out of the central position cost us. Better side until the second went in.
After going 2-1 down never looked like pulling it back, ran out of ideas, sad thing is they were not much cop apart from the fact they score goals and we do not.
There will now be a media blackout for those of us in the Wyre area, as for the manager they booed him at the end thought that was harsh but still yet to be convinced by the gobby Scouser

How have we been 'let down by the club?' Tommy..that reads to me like the sort of criticism found On-Line (I even worked out that with the reduced ST prices the club will even have taken a £1/2m hit in gate income cf usual nos. of ST holders and, say, av 12,000 gate). . Of course the decision making, players signed and released, public communications could all be better but, at the end of the day, we are still 10th in the Champ. There's only one club out of 92 in PL and EFL with a smaller turnover above us and at least two dozen with larger turnovers and/or catchment areas below us, inc some in L2. For all the shortcomings we continue to punch well above our weight..so somebody must be getting something right somewhere and there's a lot of (much) bigger clubs would gladly swap places.

Let Pool fans enjoy the day....season doesn't finish till next May. Whilst I don't think we'll be much above the bottom 3 with the manager and players we have got we'll still be above Pool.

Could be an interesting window coming up but given that the club clearly has little cash to play with unless there's money coming in for the likes of DJ and ? Browne I don't imagine that the necessary forward, rwb and rb will be coming in. When I look at today's B'pool side and see the likes of Yates knocking in goals (I remember him for years at Rotherham) there are still useful players to be picked up for small fees from the lower divisions.....and if we have been let down anywhere this is where it has occurred...step forward PR.
