After so many clean sheets but only one goal this has to be the game RL goes for bust! We need to start with 2 up top and imo remove Ledson-he’s been good but we need some goals!!
I still feel RL isn’t playing to the strikers strengths and something needs to change!
Maybe a bit of a freshen up will help, a few have looked tired, Alvarez to start.
On the upside at least the transfer window will shut after this game and the squad can be finalised with another striker and a rwb!
Hopefully the pitch will be sublime too

1st defeat of the season for me think they will get at least one on their return to the Arena although we do seem to be a bit of a bogey team to them last time I was at the Arena had nowt to do with football went to see Bruuuuce

The last month of this transfer window has been soul destroying, every man and his dog knows what is required but after what seemed like a new approach from the heirachy and the intimation of a leaner but higher quality squad it now seems to have become the same old. Two days left to surprise us though I guess! |

Sort of think we need to just concede a goal then it might kick us into gear. How many times did we come from behind last season? Think we where the best in the league at it.

The squad is trimmer with similar strength to last August.
I’m happy to have JS back. Woodman, Brady and Parrott all decent additions.
Just don’t get having a rigid system without a full complement of players suited to the system.
We overstock the midfield at the expense of other positions.
Is it really so hard to find an attacking right full back?

Finding players is the easy bit what is difficult are the conditions that come with the deal. Cost of player/wages/length of contract etc on a sale. For a loan deal it's the percentage of wage/guarantee of playing time/role of position (parent club wants their player to develop their way not necessarily the way we play)/loan fee etc. Include agents in the equation/a manager who is headstrong on formation/tactics etc and the process becomes a whole lot more difficult. Let's just hope things develop for the better remember there will be loads of free agents to look at once the window closes.
