Jeeez new season, same over reactions. 3pm we’re going up, 6pm we’re going down.
We never win the first game, a points a decent result. Going to the league one champions first game is never easy (battered 4-1 this time last season.) Had the chances to see them off. Defence looked solid. Take the point and move on.
Archer probably bags the chances parrot and Riss missed.
My biggest worry is Ledson and Woodman getting in front of McCann. What’s the lad gotta do to play?

McCann must be wondering what he has done not to get on the pitch.
We needed to hit the ground running, we didn’t, instead we looked tired and a little clueless. This is totally down to RL and I worry about him, his style and his inability to see what we can see. He cannot be happy with yesterday’s performance can he?

I said a few weeks ago my source told me RL thinks his players are the dogs .. my source said he can big anything up and rightly so, but a dire Scotsman being replaced by a chirpy Scouser does not make us the real deal.

Oh hell it’s going to be a long season of people realising we have Woodman and Woodburn in our squad!
The McCann, Ledson argument I get but Woodburn is a completely different player. You put Woodburn on when wanting to try and attack, McCann when either stifling or bulking up the midfield. Ledson over McCann is the concern.

Highlights the need for a proper RWB. I’d probs move Brady into DJs role after Saturdays performance but can’t really argue with the rest. |
