CALLING ALL PEBBLERS!!! A busy time of year and lots of upcoming fixtures. If people could volunteer to do a match thread or two, it would really help us all out. Games: QPR - 17/12/22 - ginagee THANKS SO MUCH Huddersfield - 26/12/22 WBA - 29/12/22 Stoke - 2/1/23 Huddersfield - FA CUP - 7/1/23 Norwich City - 14/1/23 Birmingham - 21/1/23 Coventry - 28/1/23 That gets the rest of December and January done so please do help out if you can spare half an hour to put a thread together (or half a minute like I did for Rovers game on Saturday!) |

Last Sunday(week yesterday) I played with a band at a Victorian Christmas market...on an outdoor stage.....it was utterly freezing. When we'd finished I'd 30 mins to kill and went to one of Sheffield's best known real ale pubs. Got chatting to some guys re football....when I said I was a North End supporter one of them said 'I was born in Preston' ...but he now lived in Sheffield and supported Norwich. At which point I drank up and went.
So Canaries it is.
And yesterday afternoon played in a lovely Carol Service (inc local traditional carols).....still freezing. Just hope there's a bit of a thaw for Saturday. I was far more delighted with North End's performance and result on Saturday (albeit against a poor Rovers defence) than I was disappointed at England's result.
