I had though that the match was going to be played in a stadium...not a morning training ground exercise. Still appears a decent one if half-paced.
The ground reminds me of a Portuguese League club that has a rock face behind one goal.

Great bit of PR for North End, looking at twitter it looks like a great weekend away for the fans, if they do it again next year they may need a stadium as i could see a couple of thousand making the trip.
Watched the game and it felt more like a training exercise, decent run out for the players, Brady showed his quality and if we can keep him fit will make a difference this year.
Cant really judge the squad until the window closes but we certainly need 3-5 more through the door.
CR7, Archer, a couple of premier league loans at either WB and i would start to feel we are onto something..

Sounds like a decent turnout - Pebble being represented by nelson and not so mini Mooney. Haven't had much info back from the game except for: 1) Taxi was late so they only just got there on time 2) It was hot and small bottles of water were £4 3) He didn't get on the pics at the end as they decided to head to the bar and beat the rush 4) Brady looks a signing |

Definitely half paced but it was extremely hot. Looked like the 2nd half team for Getafe was their 1st 11 as we barely got on the ball.
The 5 coaches only arrived as the game was kicking off, not sure what happened there as they were booked to leave in plenty of time.

Thanks thema...I didn't see all of the game and what I did not include any stands...the camera was fixed on the pitch and all you saw was just rock on the far side of the pitch and behind the right hand goal. The left hand side appeared to have s lot of plant growth with fans seemingly on a road above it. V odd ground.

Certainly well done to thse who travelled. I'm off to watch Sweden's women tomorrow night ...I bet it's more exciting than todays game.

To be fair, it seems to me the younger generation are a bit 'meh' (to use their colloquialism) about photographs - and he definitely doesn't like having one taken of him! A bit self conscious about being about 7 feet tall! Someone said they were talking to Gally and he said the togetherness reminded him of 2015. On another note, at the airport, the phrase ‘Get Robbo back’ was said to PR and got a smile in response. League One side Accrington Stanley have set themselves up a tricky pre-season schedule to prepare for the new campaign, facing sides in the Championship and higher.
They kicked off their preparations with a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, while last weekend they played two games of 60 minutes against Blackburn Rovers, winning the first 1-0 before losing 2-0 in the second. They also came out on top against Stoke City on Wednesday evening.
For North End, this will be the fourth game of their pre-season schedule and the last one away from home, with a double header at Deepdale coming up next week against Hearts and Leicester City.
