Looks like Leicester don't consider Iverson to be the replacement for Schmeichel & they're looking at Brighton's Goallie. Wonder if we could afford him, what Transfer Fee would he command?

Leicester paid £12.5m for Danny Ward...not just a question of Schmeichel being ahead of him at Leicester. Given Boro are looking for a keeper and Chris Wilder is a fan of Iversen ........

I know a scout at North End, actually most of us know him…… He says Iverson is valued at £7m which is obviously out of our budget. There are still hopes though that we’ll loan him again
Bit strange that, someone posts on PNE-Online, two hours later PNE are denying it, seems the club read the forums after all?
It makes you think that they just set a trap, given certain people a different name and seeing which one pops up on PNE-Online?
Absolutely this…club seem to be trying to work out where leaks are coming from! I know who CB is on there and he is ‘authorised’ to pass on some information. Someone else appears to be leaking unauthorised info as well… looks like Riddler is gaslighting them!

Hope you’re well MMAP - and of course Mrs Pint
Interesting. Does CB work for the club or just have a close contact?
Obviously CB is the main man for info over there, Krool seems to nip in and out and have good info and then there was KDB who seems to have disappeared, maybe since signing Ched?
Pretty sure this Sedge Fan was a regular poster and just seems to have recently appeared ITK. Then you had TheWhites over the Kirchner deal who was meant to be a different poster who just happened to be ITK on this deal and set up a different profile around the deal.
There are some idiots over there but there are also some decent posters, especially with the handful that appear to have decent info. It is much needed around this off season boredom!

Gary Cahill is a free agent.
"To dictate the pace and course of a game, a player has to be blessed with awesome qualities. Those who have accomplished it on a regular basis can be counted on the fingers of one hand – Pelé, Maradona, Best, Di Stefano, and Tom Finney"
To sign someone over 30, he’d need to tick a lot of boxes, Cahill ticks most but he only played 22 matches last season which isn’t enough IMO and on a standard contract it’d be a no from me.
He’s not likely to accept such a deal but I would have him on a pay as you play basis as the Bournemouth fans raved about him when we played there last season and he’d give us the experience/leadership the side desperately needs.
Not an advocate of signing someone of that age and I’m relatively happy with our midfield but Mark Noble would be a great signing for a season in this division. Not for us but the likes of West Brom, Burnley, etc could do worse

He's 36 and at Bournemouth Riis left him for dead, he has zero pace
The Sun’s Alan Nixon reports that Preston boss Ryan Lowe has opened talks with Dundee United goalkeeper Ben Siegrist. It’s stated that Lowe is keen to bring three new goalkeepers to Preston and Siegrist is now emerging as a top target. Celtic and Manchester United are both interested in Siegrist too but they would only want him as a number two. Preston are allegedly giving Siegrist the chance to become first-choice goalkeeper at Deepdale in the hope of convincing him.
