If you’d of told be barky was leaving at the start of the season I’d of been gutted. Not so much now, good luck to him. Can’t see him getting anymore game time at a championship club.
Will be sad to see the sloth leave.

Sounds unlikely Archer is an option for next season
Responding to those claims from Lowe about a fresh move for Archer, Gerrard was quoted by the Birmingham Mail as saying: “Ryan [Lowe] phoned me two days ago and asked for him back next season! I told him to tell Peter Ridsdale (Preston North End’s transfer advisor) to get his noughts out if he’s wanting him on a full-time basis!
“I also said that he won’t be available for a loan because the idea of the loan is to give him some experience to get him back in the group and to have a positive pre-season.
“Ryan’s done a good job with him. Preston have given him a really good opportunity, to be fair, but everyone wants Cam Archer and everyone wants Keinan Davis! Good players cost an awful lot of money and you know that, don’t ya!”

Yep can’t blame the lad. Maybe a strong finish might edge him closer to another season here. Give it a proper go. Same with Sepp and Iversen. They’re all not playing first team football at their clubs next season. Archer probably could get into villas team.
This squad with a couple of decent wing backs should make the play offs.

Not wishing to argue with you but that is what PR said. However, 15 players are out of contract at the end of the Season and I don't believe that more than 1 will be offered a renewal. That means that the remaining 9,3 of which are Loanees are going to get us into the Playoffs. Until I see whom we have signed, I cannot make any judgement. I am not optimistic, unless this algorhythmic based company can find the talent we need.

Anyone know what sort of player Cole Stockton is? My view on Stockton is the same as Dawson’s view on Jamie Vardy when he was in a similar division. He’s not good enough for us.

What I said on Vardy 71 was that he was worth a punt..not least because I knew a lot about him (from about the age of 14 years, good and bad, and knew why he was at non-league level at the time). Nelson's post above (which he repeated for years until I re-posted the original post) is as accurate as the one time claim he made that the delay at Ingol was down to the club inviting re-tendering (a matter described to me by someone within the club, now retired, as 'b*llocks).
As for Stockton his age and history does not suggest Champ potential.

I obviously have proof if required. That ceased as soon as Wigans training ground became available. You really do need to ge careful who you talk to 🥱

Nelly isn’t a Billy Big B*llocks so if he says his company was involved in a re-tender I believe him, as for anyone from within the club today or retired I wouldn’t believe a word they said on the subject of the Ingol project, PNE fans were sold a pup and used and abused by TJH to turn a gambol on a plot of land into a goldmine.

MM....Euxton only became available in August 2020 following a decision made by the administrator, appointed in July 2020 by the new owner, to sell...deal with PNE concluded in Sept 2020.
PNE was given planning permission for Ingol in August 2017.....3 years before Euxton became available. Contractors were brought in for the fencing and, subsequent to the discovery of the newts, to clear the area. There were then numeropus other planning applications mainly concerning access that had to be addressed (and remained to be addressed before any development could begin. It would be utterly pointless inviting any construction tenders before knowing the final planning requirements...and, in any evemnt considering that it was TH company that built the Invincible stand I would have thought that his own businesses would have been more than capable of taking on the work).
Nelly's claim re re-tendering was made long before the new owner at Wigan took over and before Euxton became available. .
So who is talking 'b*llocks' now?
-----
I certainly agree with you with regards to how fans were deliberately misled...and not just fans, the Council.

What has this got to do with transfer rumours, as usual we all know who has taken it off the subject. This is why posters get fed up and leave pebble.Moderators you need to sort it out.

Sad with Barky, one of the most consistent players over the last 4-5 seasons, 1st name on the team sheet for me.. but he's a forward thinking wide player that doesnt really fit with RL's formation. i would have loved to see him given a run out at WB or CF but it looks likely he's off- probably best for all parties, though i wonder if hes wishing he signed that contract we offered..

We’ve handed too many easy contracts the last interview he gave was very honest but very disappointing also. Watch Blackpool now give him 2 years and he gets the winner against us
