So on twitter a Blackburn fan has tweeted a pic of 4 soldiers saying pne Burnley bpool and Blackburn and the pne guy is dressed as a clown and our very own past has liked it. Pasty I'm sure converted a while back to being a dingle. He was going on turf Moor and at the time stop posting on here. Then he started seeing his sister. Hes a Burnley fan Seeing his sister was the biggest give away heβs a dingle π³ He was watching Burnley couple year ago.and he denied being a fan but its random to like an anti pne tweet π€£π€£ wish he was on here often.

He certainly was a good player. Part of a successful Turkish side that I think got to the semi or quarter of the 2002/6 world Cup. I was un turkey at the time and I was in a shop and there was a poster on the counter and the shopkeeper was impressed as I could name the whole squad, they were doing so well they got loads of media attention.

I don't get the basis for all this cowardly drivel re being fearful of the outcome.
We lost the home game not because Rovers were wonderful but because the PNE side put in one of the most abject performances in recent seasons.
This is a new North End side with players fighting for the chance to prove and establish themselves.
Whilst there are understandable concerns about the defence the team looked better going forward than it has done for a long time last Saturday.
We are quite capable of getting a result off a side just 3 points ahead in the League.
I'm looking forward to it...I won't be watching from behind the settee with my face in a cushion.
Come on you whites.

Certainly the best CM to play for us in my lifetime and i've been going since the 80s. Absolute legend. That show reel shows he only scored belters but so much more to his game than that. Besides he only scored about 15 goals for us in his 6-7 years for us, that was a top 10 (kinda says a lot). It was his passing range that stuck out more...a Pirlo type player if you like. He had the ability to control a game, dictate the tempo. Mark Noble (2.55 in) describes him as the best he played against

Come on you whites. Absolutely, anyone beats anyone in this division and we are as inconsistent as Mowbrays team selections and tactics. Some on here mentioned he is underperforming considering the backing he has had and that is mirrored with many Rovers fans. On paper our squad should be at least good enough for top 6 but we (or he) gets a nosebleed whenever we get close. We play strikers on the wing, midfielders as false nines, we had the City loanee CB playing RB last match just to get him in the team. Elliott has played about 6 different positions, Dack is now being used deeper to fit the formation when everyone knows the team should be built around him in his best position. We have an awful LB (Douglas has not been that good either). Ayala has been injured since we signed him Trybull has a fit missus but not much else, and the 15 million we spent on strikers has been wasted apart from obviously Armstrong (not that it helps the manager plays both of them out of position (Gallagher and Brereton). Oh that and we have spent about 500k on defense the whole time TM has been here. Doesnt do defense does our Tony...all freebies or loans. Got a good keeper though.

Their seems to be a lack of passion and belief in the players and im not expecting much from Friday . Do we have that leader at the moment to lift the team , one thing we dont have is a derby day crowd to rely on .

Been linked to us past few windows but for whatever reason it never materialized - probably because we had 43 midfielders already, 1 rubbish left back, 1 right back and no cbs. Been addressed slightly with sticking plasters but come start of next season it will be the same again. Couple of seasons back I thought you guys had a chance of breaking into the playoffs but since then you have regressed a little. Not sure on the ins and outs of why, obviously. I know you had a ton of key players out of contract recently and have had to do a bit of an overhaul - so perhaps once it all irons out you will be back to making progress. I rate your manager, definitely better than ours. Reckon he could get our lot into stronger contention.

Rovers pitch is definitely the worst. Thereβs better Sunday league pitches. Does this change peoples team then? Would it be better to play riis instead of Evans? Balls over the top ? Who will the pitch affect most? I'm thinking Blackburn seen as we don't really play football anymore π€. Does hunts come in with lyndsey for height ?

Certainly splits opinion with our fan base and it seems to get worse every week. We're a mid table side but it's hard to take when the entertainment factor is just non existent..The football has been extremely poor to watch for some time in general. Thankfully we looked a lot better going forward last time out but sod's law we lost π I just think when you take in his whole tenure he has done a good job with you guys on limited resources. Sometimes its better to be careful what you wish for. Think Ipswich fans and how they hounded out McCarthy who had them punching above their weight in the Championship. Same with us when we had Sam Alladyce. When we were in the PL before the chicken pluckers came in but after Jack Walker died, we were punching above our weight with Big Sam in charge. Some of our fans had the same complaints. SA is renowned for pragmatic football, effective but hardly pleasing on the eye. Fact is, it was what was keeping us competitive. Many fans wanted him replaced by someone that plays more attractive football. Venkys bought us, binned him off straight away and promoted our inexperienced, corrupt, and last seen as assistant manager at the club bottom of the Australian A-League coach, whose name I will not say. Well, you lot know the story, relegated within two seasons after he and his agent cohorts sold off our best players and replaced them with said agency players who were naff. Story short, bet those calling for his head would regret that now. We had PL stability and although it didnt look great, it got us the points and results we needed to stay competitive. Put it this way, Neil has had a fraction of the support TM has had and you are still just 3 points behind (hopefully 6 after tonight ) He has not had to sell anyone, they consistently fund the club, make money available for transfers and we now have a decent squad with plenty of depth. Yet, he hasnt done enough with that backing for some of us. For all his attempts at playing pretty football, id still rather someone that put more focus on points and results over style of play. He has been the same at all clubs, stockpiles midfielders and strikers yet neglects the defense (strange considering he was a decent PL centre half as a player). Tries to play nice stuff but concedes for fun. Celtic fans call him their worst ever manager - a difficult title to achieve considering he only had to beat one other team in that league. A better manager would get more out of this squad for sure. As for yours, I would maybe point the finger at the owners for not giving him more to work with. Just an opinion from the outside without knowing the full ins and outs of what goes on over there.
