We’ve been the better team and unlucky to be 1 down. At least it was the last minute of the first half not the second. The game is there to be won.

Its slow laboured, no movement . Wednesday are happy with this.just stand up and knock everything away.
Decent shot that by potts . Thats possibly our only way to score, or a set piece.

I couldn’t see what we trying to achieve going forward.
Never won a second ball. So frustrating.
The substitutions just compounded the mess.
That young lad had Sinclair in his back pocket.
Where oh where to play Alan Browne.

Usual inept game management from Neil....Riis never stopped running in the first half but the build ups were so slow and, as usual, he was so isolated he may as well have stood still. In the meantime Sinclair out wide is struggling to get in the game.
Ridiculous goal to give away...don't know what Ledson was trying to do to lose the ball which led to the throw in and the goal.
Second half it was obvious that we needed to play the ball quicker and get around the back of the Wednesday defence...did it happen? 5 subs , 3 of them too late to get into the match and a cluttered laboured midfield.
It seems that you can change the personnel but it makes no difference as long as there is such poor game management.
We played a seriously poor team today and we could not even match them. Rubbish.

Every game not having a top 6 team had less than 3 goals.

Last time we were this boring Westley was manager. 1 win in 6 and wasn't it 1 in 6 before our last win? The year we got relegated from the champ, brown came in and we went down fighting this shower ain't even fighting. 12 month is a long time in football and in 12 month we've played well about 4 times. Its amazing we aren't closer to the bottom. I was close to wanting him gone after Wycombe but he changed the side a great deal. Today he has some very good players at his disposal and its the same old tripe. |

PW..it my book Browne is one of the main culprits slowing down the build ups. Every time he gets the ball he dwells on it. Seems incapable of playing a quick accurate first time pass. Its.tough though daws when there's just no movement ahead. I even heard someone on our bench shout at one point "some f#####g movement ". We could easily get sacked into bottom 6 . Any potential target will watch that and think no thanks . |

Luckily I feel there's a few sides below us who are just as bad and our only positive is amongst this constant dross football , we've luckily picked up points earlier In the season. |

I agree , we seem to be in a safe position but I'll be a lot happier when there's another 14 points on the board.
The quality of play has been invariably diabolical for over 12 months. I don't mind losing when we have played a better side...but today we were up against a very poor team ....one good player in Bannan. The young defender who came in did a good job on keeping Sinclair quiet. What is the obvious thing to do when your cf has no support and your leading scorer is stuck out wide getting nowhere?
When a fb has the ball he should have 3 options open to him...down the line, back to the keeper or diagonal (hardly ever come inside and square because losing the ball in that position invites a crack at your own goal).Players need to make themselves available. In our midfield Ledson and Whiteman did not seem to know who was sitting in front of the back 4 and who was getting forward.
There's no structure , no fluency to the play...it's get the ball as far forward as you can without losing possession but then, in the final third, because the build up has been so laboured, the ball is pumped forward or put into the box in hope there'll be someone there on the end of it.
What on earth goes on Monday to Friday in training? No evidence of it being working on set pieces, keeping shape whilst changing formation or shooting.
As I said in an earlier it's a change in personnel but no change in performance.
And a farcical use of subs....it's a big pitch at Hillsbro' and we are failing to use the space on the wings. Yet Barkhuizen is brought on with 15 mins to go. Ridiculous.

Today should have been an away win looking at how the owls played but there's was just no cohesion or even effort. Its was pathetic. When teams play like this when they have ability, its down to the manager. His time has to come imo. |
