The club are awaiting guidance from the EFL. Clearly plenty of thought going on behind the scenes and the club don’t want to sell STs just yet until they know the parameters. October is the target with up to 30% occupancy. Ambassadors may get first offer to renew but who knows,
If you have news or a view please share below.

This is going to be difficult (obviously), you have to squeeze past people to get to your seat...

Guessing you’re only classed as an ambassador if you got a season ticket under that scheme and maintained it?
I’m a premier member but not an ambassador. Had a few years off buying a season ticket but I’ve had 1 again the past 4/5 years. Season before I got 1 I think I went on 22 of 23 league home games and thought what am I doing! Interesting to see what they come up with season ticket wise as the club say they hope to be able to release more info in the next few weeks.

Difficult to see how they can do it. I’m an ambassador but go with my son who gets a free ST my Dad who it could be argued is in my bubble but although he’s an ambassador he gets a discounted OAP ticket. I would guess they are trying to get as many full paying fans into the ground..

This is going to be difficult (obviously), you have to squeeze past people to get to your seat... Simple solution to this is to stagger times, so those (like me) who sit in the centre of the row arrive at 2.00, then the ones to the side of them 2.15 with those on the ends given 2.30/2.45 arrival times. Strict instructions to be in your seats at the given time. If people need the toilet, rows spare in front and behind so the more mobile would be able to climb down a row and walk across freely. There could be an element of choice in this, so those who like to arrive early get the central seats in each section, whereas the ones who like to arrive just before kick off get aisle seats.

Saw a similar one in the Blackpool Gazette. Sad they’ve been aiming for 600 fans for the past ten years.

My pal I go on with would be late to his own funeral! You couldn’t rely on everyone turning up on their slot.

I would suspect that you will not be offered your own personal seat and will have to take what comes, depending upon what time you arrive. Queuing to get in will have to be socially distanced, making longer queues. The Risk Assessment will be a nightmare and you will probably not be able to leave your seat until Halftime, and with Stewards controlling movement to maintain security.

Would forget catering. If I player could be enhanced some sort of blended package could be offered. 12 games at Deepdale. Rest - home and away - on a viewing package?

I sit in the middle and am not sure I want to be seated an hour early, especially in winter... I suppose there is less risk as it’s outside and it would disperse quicker if you passed someone...

It was a shame that a representative from Preston talking about the lockdown on the BBC website was wearing a Manchester City face covering.

Has anything been said about when stadiums may be able to get back to normal?
I would guess sometime in the New Year but some clubs are going to be struggling to survive by then I would imagine, with no crowds from March until now and significantly reduced crowds until perhaps next year.

I don't think ambassadors should hold all of the cards when we do re introduce fans. It should be a cross section of our fan base.

I don't think ambassadors should hold all of the cards when we do re introduce fans. It should be a cross section of our fan base. Don’t understand why people have a downer on “Ambassadors” to get such status you have to be putting money up front and continually for a long period. How many can there be? Given that most will be on the elder side and will be considering the way they support the club going forward, especially given that you could consider attendance as being life threatening if what we are being told is true, I don’t think that getting tickets will be a problem especially if away fans are barred. There as to be some sort of incentive for loyalty. Having said all that maybe its time to phase it out and put more energy in to encouraging youngsters, not sure what more they can do, but getting kids to turn their back on the MUFC and LFC’s of this world must be getting harder for young PNE dads.

Ambassador project has been a failure since the start. I’d say it’s lost more fans than gained any. It only works if the demand outstrips supply.
Wonder if you will keep your ambassador status if you don’t get a season ticket because you don’t want to put your health on the line? Doubt it. Ideal time to knock it on the head.

I am an ambassador MMAP. Just think others should also get a shout to watch the game. Loyalty points for X years as a PNE ST holder could work in the same way. Ambassadors go back to the Westley era. Could be 5k left.

“Ambassador” should just be based on continual purchases of season tickets rather than just that “1 Dark GW year” they brought it out. Loyalty is what the club should be promoting and season ticket holders are the best measure. I understand that it’s not perfect with people having many different reasons for not buying a season ticket, but it’s still the best measure available.

Could be 5k left. That’s fair enough, if you are prepared to give up your ticket to someone else if they are scarce. I don’t think that some would be happy not getting priority when we draw MUFC or LFC in the cup and they go straight to open sale and people who only go to such games are getting tickets especially if they are allowed to buy three or four and they are getting them for their manky or scouse friends. Very much doubt there will ever be a perfect solution to sell tickets for anything if there aren’t enough to go round.

I would love to attend a game now. Live sport so much better than the telly.
Junior football, as an aside, went from strict distancing rules for the first session to full contact within two weeks which surprised me a little.

My lad played yesterday which makes no sense to me at all. 22 kids can be on the same pitch playing competitively but I can't go to my brothers. Which junior side are you associated with?

So you "can go out of the lash" yes, but in your household only. The new restrictions in Preston are pretty clear tbh.

If I’m going back, I would rather be first in and get there early, so would hopefully be able to select an early slot... just a thought anyway.

So what the difference of 3000 turning up at FC United and 3000 at a league 1 game? Bit daft to base the decision on the league pyramid.

One below conference north. Brig have been playing friendlies, so they must have a start date already.
