Like a postAt the top of each post is a 'thumb up' icon , so if you like a post , just click it. You can also click on the '2 likes' link to see who has liked it. Obviously this only appears after someone has liked the post. Try it! SmileysAll will be added to the one button instead of having the 'extra-smiley' box.  Quick reply smileys/bbcode/link buttons etcAdded to the quick reply section. Thread MergeThreads/Posts can now be merged. If you see a thread that is very similar to one that is already running, let a staff member of that board know and they can merge the two threads. Optional ThemesThere are now two different options to choose from for how the forum appears. 1) Default theme with all graphics 2) 606ish theme with low graphics content (low GFX) If you prefer the low GFX or are connecting through a slow internet connection (or by phone) then this may be the option for you. Go to Profile > Edit Profile > Settings > Forum Theme > Low GFX Tagging MembersYou can now 'tag' a member in a post so that they recieve a notification that they have been mentioned in a post. This is useful if you need to draw a specific persons attention to your post. (if you don't want notifying the you can turn this option of in your profile) Or you can use the button on the main posting page that has a person and an @ symbol. ProudPreston29 as an example. Or you can just write the @ symbol followed by the members username (found by hovering over their name in their mini-profile)
Optional inputYou can now use the BBcode option (similar to how it was before) Or the visual mode which will show you how your post will look before you post it. You can set which you want as the default by going to PROFILE > EDIT PROFILE > SETTINGS and select the option you want - Remember to save at the bottom of the screen. ================================= Many more to be added this week - updates here to follow.

Dont forget to get the most out of your Pebble get yourself assigned to a group , click on the profile page at the top and go to the groups section and join one two or maybe more to get live twitter feeds and other updated info from your team    , also if you like reading posts from certain members why not follow them . |

I cannot create threads or send messages - it just says "You must provide a message." even though I have!?
For some reason I cannot seem to flick between pages on threads of more than one page. I have to come out of the thread and then select the page number on the main menu.
Also I cannot seem to quote? When I do, enter my text and then post my comment it just comes up blank?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi cumbrianpastyface, I'm away travelling at the momento so only just saw this. Can you try this in different browsers and let me know if it's still the same. And let me know the browser versions. The pages are changed via an Ajax call and also the reply is a JavaScript process. It sounds like JavaScript is not enabled or not running for some reason. I'll look into this in more detail when I get back to the UK. Cheers. |

What versión of IE are you using?
Can you try accessing the site using private browsing (control + shift + P) and see if the same thing happens. (you'll have to sign in etc manually)

The last edit text has been removed from posts if you edit your post within 3 minutes.
Many times it's just spelling or forgotten comments so the last edit part isn't really needed for these occasions.

Added a code to show on the main page the total number of members and the total number of members that have posted.
It just seemed more reflective of how active the forum is than just the total number of members.

Active is whether a member has posted or logged in , in the last 12 months.

Simple Tagging :
This feature has been added to the quick reply and main reply pages.
It should display all those members that have posted on the page you are on. Simply clicking the name of that person will add their tag to your reply depending on where the cursor is.
Clicking 'All' will add all the members mentioned.

They've been made into sub-boards and placed in the same category as 'Other Football'. So, they still exist but due to lack of traffic , it didn't seem that they warranted a prime position. They'll get their prime spot back when PNE are in the same league as one of them. |
