This shows to me that CK didn't have the funds after all and that he's trying to put the blame on PNE for the deal falling through. I'd also heard (not substantiated) that he'd asked us to REDUCE the asking price twice. He's only gone back to Derby after some things have been removed from the deal (the ground) and newspaper stories appearing that the deal is STILL questionable. Definitely dodged a bullet there.
This has been missing from football since the lockdwn began, the first full season after restrictions has now eneded. Sides went up last season and teh season before with no one in the grounds.
On top of the traffic lights is Bristol Rovers player Aaron Collins apparently he led the celebration from the ground into Bristol City centre, if you look at the video it's dark then look at Collins 4 hours after the game he's sat on top of a traffic light still in match day kit

I thought that at Deepdale.
"To dictate the pace and course of a game, a player has to be blessed with awesome qualities. Those who have accomplished it on a regular basis can be counted on the fingers of one hand – Pelé, Maradona, Best, Di Stefano, and Tom Finney"

Dave Seddon @sedds_lep Having covered 654 PNE first-team games over the last 13 years, my time as the LEP’s North End football writer is now at an end. It has been a privilege to cover the club and thank you to everyone who has read my articles and interacted on here.

He’s been great for the club and I wish him all the best. He had a tricky job in that he couldn’t ask tough questions, all the stuff he said had come direct from the club.
It’d be nice if someone could ask some tricky questions when needed
Always thought LEP has been a PR mouthpiece for the club, excited at crap signing, not very critical when they should be. Could do with a bit more independence. Seddon hardly had a bad word to say. Even got excited when Nuge was signed again and the majority of us knew it would be a disaster.
